mini-Wyss

As usual, time flies.

Last Wednesday, Ellie was in town, so Kendra, Wendi, and I got to take our kids to her parent's pool.  Gideon loved it as usual. :) It was fun to all be together again. Just like the good old days. :) hehe.

Thursday, Nathan took off work, we packed up the car and headed to mini-Wyss vacation.  My parents rented a house in Three Rivers, Michigan for the weekend.

It was a really cool place.  It had a trampoline, sing set, pool,  large yard,  awesome outdoor sitting area,  5 bedrooms, huge dining room table,  and plenty of room to spread out.

We went on walks, swam, relaxed, and ate food.   The guys played lots of games.  Gideon did great and seemed to love every minute of it.  I think he enjoyed watching his crazy cousins, playing with their toys, and having grandpa and grandma around to hold him.

He loves to swim.

Cadence and Gideon generally got along.

Games.

hehe

We all brought pop. It filled a whole refrigerator.
Hehe.

What the guys did most of the weekend.

Hay Stacks!!!

Jack loved the trampoline.

Tire swing and swing set

Cecilly got to play Mario Cart and loved beating anyone who would play with her.

All the grandkids playing together.

The place was super cool and old.  It used to be a larger farm.

On the last night, we attempted to get a nice picture of all the kids.

hahaha

And then we tried again when they were all in their pjs...

Yah... haha.

Sunday morning, we packed up and left.

Gideon did well on the way home and we made great time.

We've both been having a rough time transitioning back to normal life. Sigh. It's so quiet here around the house.  Gideon misses his cousins and I miss the pool.
